We've incorporated feedback from the riders of CANYON//SRAM to improve our women's WorldTour race-winning bib shorts. Made with a lightweight mesh, the highly breathable upper section has been reshaped with more fabric across the back to provide more support around the waist. Innovative evolution The Free Aero RC Bibshort is our top race short, which also means that it's insanely comfortable even if you never pin on a number. It's fair to say that we've been working on this short for the past 15 years. That's how long it's been since the original free aero race bibshort was first introduced, initially as our top-of-the-line race short. Since then it has won three Tours de France, three Gri d'Italia, one Vuelta, and San Remo, but it also became the best-selling product in the history of Castelli because, simply put, this is the short that does everything well. The concept is quite simple: start with the best pad we know how to make, surround it with a supportive short with good muscle compression, and then remove everything else that's not absolutely necessary. You feel free thanks to the reduced number of panels and the reduced number of seams. In fact, the short portion has just 5 panels compared to 10 in the previous generation. You feel free because of further refinements to the Progetto X2 air seamless seat pad. The two densities of foam plus the gel pads provide progressive damping, while the separate skincare layer is soft and stretchy to move with your skin. But with this in mind, we built our Women's Element Cycling Bib Tights to be your perfect training partner this winter. To start, they're partly made from one of the most protective, warming materials in the business—Element Soft Shell. This material is extremely wind- and water-resistant, and it's also highly efficient at wicking moisture away from the skin, while remaining soft against the skin and quite breathable. And to further protect against the cold, select panels of the tights are constructed from our insulating Therminal fabric. Both materials possess the perfect amount of stretch, which complements the articulated cycling cut of the tights. Essentially, this all adds up to a complete freedom of movement throughout the motions of cycling, and this equates to the elimination of any rubbing, pinching, or chafing. Unlike generic merino blends, RPM150 is light, soft, breathable and adaptable to a huge range of conditions. And with recycled polyester now incorporated, it’s a lower impact option too. Helping your body breathe in hot conditions and insulating when the temperature drops, we believe this to be the most versatile cycling fabric in the world, and it’s the product of Rapha’s tireless R&D. How This Was Made The Classic Jersey is now made with the latest iteration of Rapha Performance Merino – a proprietary blend comprising high-grade, merino wool and post-consumer recycled polyester. Using recycled polyester reduces our reliance on virgin materials and gives a second life to materials that would otherwise go to landfill. Overall, this change reduces our environmental impact without compromising product performance and durability.

Heat and humidity are testing conditions for racing jerseys and bib shorts – sweat soaks fabrics, ill-placed seams can cause irritation, and exposed skin risks sun damage – so Rapha’s designers have reworked the Pro Team Flyweight Jersey with two new fabrics and a new construction to create a jersey that thrives in the height of summer. The front of the jersey features a new lightweight fabric with superb ventilation, allowing air to pass over the body. The back of the jersey is made of an alternate lightweight fabric which provides UPF 40 sun protection. Thanks to their excellent breathability, both fabrics dry very quickly – meaning they aren't weighed down with sweat after a few hard efforts in the heat.

Designed specifically for rides in hot and humid conditions, the Women’s Flyweight Jersey is lightweight and highly breathable. Using a high-wicking and fast-drying fabric, the relaxed fit of the jersey is cut to sit slightly away from the skin, allowing air to flow around the body and keeping you cool. The collar sits lower than on other jerseys for better breathability. Unnecessary seams have been removed to improve moisture transfer and a weight-saving minimal gripper and lightweight zipper are used. Featuring a new, expandable pocket construction that sits away from the body when full, a mesh yoke at the rear and a mesh lining inside the pockets to increase ventilation in areas of high perspiration. Style details include a contrast armband, and reflective logo details on the back and arm.
