Shipping & Delivery Options


Conte's Bike Shop will only ship orders within the United States. Orders typically ship USPS or UPS Ground, depending on the item(s). Certain brands of bicycles must be delivered in person per supplier agreements, and cannot be shipped. Any free shipping offers exclude bicycles. Online orders require 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday) processing time. 

 Due to significant volume, orders requiring shipping may take up to 2 weeks to arrive. We will do our best to let you know if your order is delayed for any reason.

Local Home Delivery of Complete Bikes

Certain Conte’s Bike Shop locations offer doorstep delivery services of complete bikes to qualifying areas for a fee. If your bike is in stock, please allow up to 48 hours for process and delivery. Delivery radius applies to the radius from the Conte's Bike Shop from which your order is placed. Bikes coming from the warehouse may be longer. Delivery service fees are non-refundable.

In-Store & Curbside Pick Up

If you select in-store pickup or curbside pickup as your shipping option, we will contact you when your order is ready at your selected Conte's Bike Shop location. You can order an item to be picked up at any location, but if it needs to be transferred from store to store please allow extra time. All online purchases picked up in store require verifying photo ID against the credit card used to make the purchase (if applicable). For curbside pick up, call your local Conte's when you arrive. If you have any questions, you can always contact the store location.

Complete Bike Shipping Policy

Select complete bicycles from certain manufactures are available to be 99% assembled and professionally tuned before shipping to you through our Ride Ready program. A minimum $195 handling fee will be added to cover the build and repackaging of the bike by our professional mechanics. We strongly recommend that every shipped bicycle be professionally rebuilt from the box and checked over prior to riding. Conte’s Bike Shop cannot be held liable for issues resulting from incorrect assembly.


In-State Store Transfers

Most items ordered online for in-store or curbside pick up qualify for transfer between in-state Conte’s Bike Shop locations at no additional charge. Some items may be excluded based on manufacturer agreements.

Store Transfers Between States

Complete bicycles may qualify for transfer between Conte’s Bike Shop locations in different states for an additional destination fee of $95. Some items may be excluded based on supplier agreements.



Returns of purchases may be accepted up to 30 days after an order was shipped. To be eligible for return credit, all items must be unused, in original packaging and have a Return Authorization number clearly marked on the outside of the shipping package (if purchased online). You may obtain a Return Authorization number by calling or emailing Conte's Bike Shop. You can find store hours, address, email and phone number on our store details page.

  • You have 30 days from purchase to request a refund
  • Refund will be applied to the original form of payment
  • Product must be new or like new condition in order to return
  • All sales on closeout and sale items are final - no returns
  • Original or return shipping charges are non-refundable
  • Customer is responsible for any shipping costs related to the return

Due to the current health environment, we are currently not accepting any returns on bicycles, saddles, helmets, jerseys, bibs, socks, or shoes.

Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on the original order.

Security Information

Fraudulent Order Protection

Conte's Bike Shop has the right to cancel an order that appears fraudulent.  When ordering online, the billing address and shipping address must be the same. All online purchases picked up in store require verifying photo ID against the credit card used to make the purchase (if applicable).

Due to an increase in fraudulent activity, bike purchases over $1500 will require a mandatory validation transaction of ten cents on the purchasing credit card at pickup.

Information Security

We protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of the information you provide to us and prevents outside parties from being able to view or access your transaction information. When your account information is displayed on your screen, we only display the last four digits of your credit card numbers. You also have the choice of whether or not to save credit card information with us in your Online Account. We sometimes use other companies (third-party service providers) to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders and delivering packages. They need access to some personal information in order to perform their duties but may not use this information for other purposes.

Additional Charges & Fees

Any additional charges or fees listed here but not shown or paid for during online checkout will be collected by a representative from Conte’s Bike Shop either in advance or at time of pickup. We will make every effort to be transparent with any fees and apologize for any inconvenience may be caused by varying methods of payment.

Our online inventory updates as frequently as every 15 minutes. Feel free to call our store to check availability on any item before you place an order. We make every effort to maintain current, accurate prices in our online catalog. And we strive for similar accuracy and timeliness with the other information we offer here. We appreciate your understanding should any of the prices or other information provided be incorrect and regret any inconvenience such mistakes may create.
