Mavic Cosmic Ultimate T WTS Wheelset
$3,749.90
Ultimate is not just a name, it’s the word Mavic reserves for perfection. And it’s how they define this Wheel-Tire System. The Cosmic Ultimate was introduced 10 years ago and quickly became the wheel choice for pro racers seeking a competitive advantage. With a NACA-inspired 40mm deep, 25mm wide full-carbon tubular rim profile, 20 super-bladed spokes, and high, thin carbon hub flanges, it offers a clear and proven aero advantage. It’s also ultra-stiff thanks to the unidirectional carbon fiber spokes that don’t stretch. These spokes run continuously from one edge of the rim to the other through the hubs (R2R technology) creating one single spoke instead of two. This eliminates the need to mechanically attach the spokes to the hub. The rear rim is asymmetrical to improve the drive-side bracing angle, so spoke tension is balanced and the wheel stays stiff under the heaviest lateral loads such as sprints or attacks. The rim is made of 12k carbon fibers wrapped over a super rigid foam core. Full-carbon construction means the whole wheel is incredibly light at just 1250g. Mavic's unique iTgMax technology delivers reliable and consistent braking performance in both wet and dry conditions. The system is delivered with Yksion Pro tubular tires, optimized for front and rear performance. The front uses GripLink with a tread pattern that improves water evacuation when leaning through corners and the rear offers minimum rolling resistance with grooves that release pressure on the ground but deliver plenty of traction in the rain thanks to the water evacuation channel. It’s no surprise the Cosmic Ultimate is pro’s choice for the most challenging World Tour races.

Zipp Super-9 Disc Carbon Rear Wheel (Clincher)
$2,731.00 - $2,875.00
Equip yourself with the wheel that carried Tony Martin to a World Championship and reach the pinnacle of your own potential. Zipp’s Super-9 Carbon Clincher Disc underwent extensive fluid dynamic modeling, wind-tunnel testing, and relentless refinement so you can enjoy no-holds-barred aero domination. With a variance in width of just a single centimeter from rim to hub, the Super-9 is almost invisible to the wind. Plus the wide rim creates a virtually seamless integration with the tire, increasing aerodynamics and allowing wider tires run at a lower pressure. This diminishes rolling resistance, increases rider comfort, and reduces the chance of pinch flatting.
Zipp Super-9 Disc Carbon Clincher Disc Brake 700c Rear
$2,731.00
Zipp’s first product almost three decades ago was a disc wheel. It’s at the heart of their heritage. Now, Zipp is pioneering the next generation of disc wheel, the Super-9 Disc-brake Disc. The Super-9 Disc itself, handmade at Zipp's factory in Indianapolis, USA, optimizes supreme aerodynamics, power transfer, stiffness, lightweight and durability. The Super-9 disc has an unassuming profile. It borrows from the perimeter shape that makes the Sub-9 so fast it can actually generate forward lift, but in place of the Sub-9's toroidal bulge, the Super-9 remains flat from its widest point all the way to the hub. This relatively simple-looking shape results in a wheel that's as fast as the Sub-9 but stiffer than any other Zipp disc. Braking on modern time trial and triathlon bikes often has been a challenge. The superior performance of disc brakes changes all that with greater stopping power and more precise speed modulation, all with less hand effort than required by traditional brakes. That means greater confidence in corners, descents, and on technical courses. The disc brake version of the Super-9 disc retains the light weight of its rim-brake counterparts. - Includes: Aero Stainless Steel Black Quick Release, 10-speed hub spacer, Platinum Pro EVO Brake Pads, Valve Extender, Valve Adaptor, Valve Decal

Specialized Roval 321 Disc - Disc Brake 700c Rear
$2,500.00
Making up about 50% of your total race time, the bike portion of a triathlon is where equipment choices can make the difference between first and fifth, and no other equipment choice will save you more time than a disc wheel. While traditionally-shaped disc wheels are faster than their spoked counterparts, the Roval 321 Disc for disc brakes turns conventional design on its head, creating the fastest wheel on the planet. Disc wheels often fall into two categories—a completely flat shape, with structure coming from carbon fiber and a honeycomb-foam filling, or a spoked wheel that's been faired with a carbon fiber cover. In our quest to break traditions, the 321 uses a single layer of 1k carbon fiber on each side of the wheel, and it all comes together at the brake track bridge. This kind of carbon fiber is rarely used in bicycle components due to its high manufacturing cost, but it offers a bevy of performance benefits. This coveted carbon is much lighter than other layups, like 3k and 12k, and it can only be laid by the most skilled of carbon fiber craftsmen. It's complicated, but the payout is worth it, as it delivers a supple ride and one of the lightest disc wheels available. And in the real world, this means that it'll spin-up quickly and reduce fatigue over the length of the course. Stiffness is often the “hot-topic” in the disc wheel world, but we think it’s an interesting conversation. It's long been thought that efficient power transfer and high stiffness are directly correlated, but through extensive field-testing, we've determined that this isn't the case at all. In fact, our initial disc was so stiff that, under power, it wouldn't flex with the frame and this caused brake rub. This wrongly creates the perception of a flexy wheel, when really, the wheel is actually too stiff. In order to solve the brake rub problem, we first designed our optimal aero shape and then worked on our internal stiffness targets to fit within what we consider to be a desirable frame stiffness. And while light overall weight was a development priority, our focus was aerodynamics. Through hours of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and testing in the Win Tunnel, we developed a never-before-seen shape that's optimized to work with a tire for on-bike airflow. What this translates to is an all-carbon disc wheel that, on the non-drive-side, has a shape that's as aerodynamic as our current understanding allows, and a drive-side shape that's as aerodynamic as the wheel-dish and derailleur clearance will allow for. To save every possible watt, we've also added CeramicSpeed bearings and DT Swiss 240 hub internals into our hub. Each 321 Disc wheel is also 2Bliss Ready right out of the box and comes with a padded wheel bag, quick-release, and tubeless valve stem. Designed for the most uncompromising athletes in the world, with engineering to match, the 321 Disc is the world's most advanced disc wheel for your race against the clock. - Rim Type: Full carbon clincher, 2Bliss Ready - Rim Material: Carbon - Braking Surface: Disc brake only - Rim Depth: Solid Disc - Rim Width: 19mm internal, 27.3mm external (at brake track) - Rear Hub: Roval Disc 142x12mm, CeramicSpeed bearings, DT Swiss 240 internals, 11-speed - Assembly Method: Handmade - Extras: Roval padded wheel bag, Roval tubeless valve, Roval valve pocket covers - Weight: 1015g

Specialized Roval CLX 64 Track – Tubular Wheelset
$2,100.00
The CLX 64 Track Tubular was brought to life under the Allez Allez team at the 2016 Red Hook Crit. Along these lines, you get all of the unrivaled aero performance of the CLX 64, albeit with DT Swiss track hubs and Aerolite spokes, for a stiff, smooth, and most importantly, fast ride on the boards. One of the first questions we get about the CLX 64 is, “Why 64mm instead of 65mm?” To put it simply, it's because 64mm tested faster than 65mm. One millimeter—that's how deep our testing goes. Having an in-house wind tunnel allows us to run every possible variation, and after two-years of development, 80 variations in rim design, and nearly 300 hours of Win Tunnel testing time studying tire and frame interactions, we found 64mm to be the fastest iteration for normal riding conditions. In fact, it's even faster than the 80-plus-millimeter-deep wheels they were tested against. Being able to use a shape that’s nearly 20mm shallower than the competition, yet just as low in drag, makes for a wheel that has drastically less side force and steering torque. This translates to less buffeting and more confidence in even the gustiest winds. Another positive of a shallower rim depth is the reduction in weight that follows using less material. Many deep carbon wheels feel “slow” due to their high inertia value. What's that? Inertia is the amount of force it takes to accelerate or decelerate, and wheels that are built around heavier rims lack the liveliness that many riders crave. Being over a half-a-pound lighter than the other wheels in its aero category, the CLX 64 accelerates, decelerates, and changes direction with less effort.

Roval Control SL 29 Torque Tube Wheelset
$1,800.00
Gravity's grasp just got a little weaker. With Roval's Control SL 29 Torque Tube Wheelset coming in at an impressive 1,440 grams, you'll climb with ease. The lightweight, 30mm-wide carbon rims respond almost telepathically to accelerations, changes in direction, and the ins and outs of the trail. To add durability to the mix, DT Swiss's legendary 240 rear hub internals, SRAM's super-stiff Torque Tube front hub, and DT Swiss spokes make these wheels as ready for epic miles as they are light. And for versatility, the rear hub is compatible with a standard 135mm quick-release or a 142mm thru-axle. Please note: The front wheel only fits RockShox's RS-1 fork and the wheelset has a rider weight limit of 240 pounds.
Roval Control SL 29 Torque Tube Wheelset
$1,800.00
The Roval Control SL 29 Torque Tube wheels are nearly identical to the "standard" Control SL 29s, with the only exception being at the front hub. For this wheelset, the front hub features a SRAM Torque Tube design that's intended for use exclusively with the RockShox RS-1 fork. Again, it's not compatible with any other fork. However, if you're running an RS-1, you'll get hand-built, ultralight carbon perfection with a Zero Bead Hook design. This design pairs perfectly with tubeless tires, while also increasing both strength and impact-resistance. Meanwhile, the rims have been laced via DT Swiss Competition spokes to strong alloy hubs with DT Swiss 240 internals (rear only) that serve-up lightening-fast engagement and acceleration.
Roval CL 50 Disc Wheelset
$1,750.00
After designing the CLX 50s, we realized that an affordable, race-worthy carbon wheelset was nowhere to be found—until the CL 50 Disc was developed, that is. We paired our quiver-killing CLX 50 Disc rim with DT Swiss Competition round spokes, our Aero Flange Disc hubs with DT Swiss 350 internals, and steel bearings to deliver you an exceptional wheelset at a more than accessible price. Why disc you ask? With our disc-specific rims, you not only ditch the brake track, but you get a stronger, more impact-resistant rim. This comes at the hands of a disc-specific carbon layup that optimizes stiffness and keeps weight as close to its rim-brake brethren as possible. And all the while, you get incredible brake modulation and power in all conditions. Sharing rims with the CLX 50s, the CL 50s feature many of the benefits as their higher-end siblings. Even though the CL 50 is similar in weight to many wheels in the “lightweight” category, aerodynamics came at the forefront of the development. With this, we jumped headlong into Computational Fluid Dynamics computer modeling to arrive at various rim shapes that could make the CL 50 as fast and light as possible. It took a while, but we narrowed the rim shape down to three contenders that were then CNC machined into rims, built into wheels, and put into the Win Tunnel. In the tunnel, we tested every wheel, ours and the competition's, with a 24C tire (measuring 26C), as tires can drastically affect testing. We chose a modern-width tire to design our rims around, because they not only allow for less tire pressure (which results in more comfort and less rolling resistance) but are also just as aerodynamically efficient when paired with the correct rim width. Now it was time for final testing validation. The result? A 50mm-deep, 1515-gram clincher wheelset that's race-ready and wallet-friendly. - Rim Type: Carbon clincher, 2Bliss-Ready - Rim Material: Carbon - Braking Surface: Disc brake only - Rim Depth: 50mm - Rim Width: 20.7mm internal, 29.4mm external - Front Spoke Pattern: Two-cross/Radial (2:1) - Rear Spoke Pattern: One-cross/Two-cross (2:1) - Spoke Count: 21 front, 24 rear - Spoke Type: DT Swiss Competition Race T-head - Nipple Type: DT Swiss Pro LockBrass hexagonal - Front Hub: Roval AFD1, Centerlock, sealed cartridge bearings, quick-release or 12mm thru-axle end cap - Rear Hub: Roval AFD2, Centerlock, sealed cartridge bearings, DT Swiss 350 internals, 11-speed, quick-release or 142x12mm thru-axle end cap - Assembly Method: Hand-built - Extras: Roval steel quick-releases, Roval tubeless plugs and valves, Front quick-release & 12mm endcaps, Rear quick-release & 142x12 thru-axle endcaps - Total Wheelset Weight: 1,515g

Specialized Roval Traverse 38 SL Fattie 27.5 148
$1,600.00
While there may be a linear relationship between increased tire size and increased fun, this relationship only holds true when wider tires are paired with the correct width rims. Having a 2.8", or high-volume, tire mated to a narrow rim makes for a squirmy, poor handling experience, and when you’re on the hunt for additional fun, these characteristics are undesirable. Lucky for you, the new age of traction, stability, and speed has arrived—and its name is the Traverse 38 SL Fattie 27.5. Along with light overall weight, stiffness, and durability, another top priority for the Traverse SL was ease of use. First off, we got rid of the creaky straight-pull spokes and corrosion-prone alloy nipples. Next up, we landed on 28 J-bend spokes, for front and rear wheels, that are all the same length—making it easy to find replacements if needed. And finally, we engineered a new hub design, with a wider profile and higher flange to aid in overall stiffness. While our 38-millimeter Traverse SL is already wider than most offerings, the benefits of three-inch tires become more apparent with a proper rim interface. In search for the proper width, our engineers tested various iterations, from 30 to 45 millimeters, to determine where the sweet spot lies. What they ended up with is a 38-millimeter internal rim width that turns the Traverse 38 SL Fatties into descending machines. A wide internal rim width endows riders with a variety of advantages that are exemplified even more with plus-sized tires. The extra width allows for more tire volume, translating into more supple ride qualities, and better support for the tire, meaning that you'll experience less "burping" when riding tubeless and a drastic increase in traction. After determining the proper rim width for the plus-sized application, we began designing the rim using the same low-weight, high-strength technologies used in the Traverse SL and the Control SL. With this, we started with our Zero Bead Hook design that effectively eliminates the biggest weak spot found in traditional rims, and topped it off by using high-modulus carbon fiber to keep the weight down. And to further this theme, the wheels also include the Roval tubeless plug system, which sheds an additional 50 grams-per-wheel compared to a rim strip Each Traverse 38 SL Fattie is hand-built to our own alloy hubs with DT Swiss Competition Race spokes. Inside our hubs, you'll find sealed cartridge bearings all-around, and a quick-engaging 54t DT Swiss star ratchet system in the rear that allows you to power over rocks and roots without delay. And while machines do a decent job of building wheels, we choose professionally trained humans to build ours, as they catch various flaws that a machine would otherwise miss.
Roval CL 50 Wheelset
$1,599.99 $1,750.00 9% Savings
After designing the CLX 50s, we realized that an affordable, race-worthy carbon wheelset was nowhere to be found—until the CL 50 was developed, that is. We paired our quiver-killing CLX 50 rim with DT Swiss Competition round spokes, our Aero Flange hubs with DT Swiss 350 internals, and steel bearings to deliver you an exceptional wheelset at a more than accessible price. The result? A 50mm-deep, 1465-gram clincher wheelset that's race-ready and wallet-friendly. - Rim Type: Carbon clincher, 2Bliss-Ready - Rim Material: Carbon - Braking Surface: Carbon Fiber - Brake Track Height: 12mm - Rim Depth: 50mm - Rim Width: 20.7mm internal, 29.4mm external - Front Spoke Pattern: Radial - Rear Spoke Pattern: Radial/Two-cross (2:1) - Spoke Count: 16 front, 21 rear - Spoke Type: DT Swiss Competition Race T-head - Nipple Type: DT Swiss Pro LockBrass hexagonal - Front Hub: Roval AF1, sealed cartridge bearings - Rear Hub: Roval AF1, sealed cartridge bearings, DT Swiss 350 internals, 11-speed - Assembly Method: Hand-built - Extras: Roval steel quick-releases, Roval tubeless plugs and valves, SwissStop Black Prince brake pads

Roval Traverse SL Fattie 650b 142+ Wheelset
$1,500.00
650b wheels are notorious for their playful handling, which is why the ultra-wide design of the Roval Traverse SL Fattie 650b wheels are the perfect complement to this style of riding. The reason is behind this simple: Aside from an immaculate, lightweight, and bombproof carbon layup, with a wide, 30mm carbon rim (internal width), these wheels dramatically increase both stability and traction. Ultimately, this all boils down to more control. The extra width also allows for more tire volume, which means more suppleness in the ride quality. And not only this, but the ample width also better supports the tire, meaning that you'll experience less "burping" when riding tubeless. These wheels also include the Roval tubeless plug system, which is an easy and super lightweight solution for tubeless setups. At the front hub, you'll get a thru-axle design with 15/20mm compatibility (end cap options included), and at the rear, the hub features DT Swiss internals for lightening-fast engagement and acceleration. And to top everything off, these wheels are hand-built to ensure a painstaking attention to detail. Please note that these wheels were developed exclusively for use with 142+ compatible Specialized frames, and accordingly, they're stiffer than their non-142+ counterparts in order to provide maximum all-mountain performance.
