Get your little riders rolling free and loving life on these high-performance, Kid-Correct bikes. With its durable alloy construction, the Trail 20-inch will withstand plenty of tough use as kids improve their skills. Lightweight alloy bars and kid's comfort grips ensure they'll ride comfortably, while the single-speed drivetrain and rear coaster brake are easy to operate.
With a low standover height that's friendly to new riders, the 20" BMX by 19fiftyseven is a great option for kids looking to build confidence on two wheels. A rear V-brake with an adjustable reach lever gets riders accustomed to using a hand brake, while retaining a rear coaster brake that kids are familiar with. The aluminum frame and high tensile steel fork are rock solid, especially considering that they're paired with tough 20" wheels with 36 hole rims. The slick paint fade available in two colors completes the package, ensuring that aspiring shredders are riding with style.
Every Jamis youth bike uses size-specific items like grips, saddles and cranks that enhance comfort and control by providing the best possible bike fit. We focus on designing frames with low stand-overs to take much of the awkwardness out of getting on board and dismounting after. We trim as much weight as we can with lightweight aluminum frames on many of the youth models and use aluminum parts where possible (the limiting factor here is working within a youth-bike-appropriate price point) to work towards that make-it-as-light-as-possible goal.
