The entire Conte's Bike Shop organization traces its roots to Charles Conte's first bike shop in Newport News. This city holds immense value to all of us here at Conte's Bike Shop. That's why the decision to close our Newport News location, effective February 1, 2023, was such a difficult one to make.

We've thoroughly enjoyed serving the Newport News community and will continue to do so via our Williamsburg location and online - with easy shipping to your door or pickup at your closest shop - right here at contebikes.com.

The lease for our Newport News location has run its course and we have elected to not renew. Therefore, on February 1, 2023, we will cease operations in Newport News and Paul Besser, the current Manager of Newport News, will begin managing our Williamsburg location. The current Manager of our Williamsburg shop, Fran Lenahan, will transition to the role of Reginal Bike Fitter, so the faces you've come to know and trust will remain in the Conte's family.
